IIS has provided privacy advice and strategies to organisations to help them build privacy and trust as a key feature of their project including for:
- The Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) — initial privacy management advice for the early stages of the Australian Government Online Service Portal (AGOSP) project;
- Chief Information Officer of the Victorian Government — an initial Privacy Strategy for Project Rosetta (Whole of Victorian Government Identity Management initiative) with Deloitte as Joint Venture Partner;
- Victorian Department of Human Services — on privacy aspects of its case management and grants programs established to assist victims of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires;
- The NSW Office of the Information Commissioner — by assisting with drafting of FAQs on the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009;
- The NSW Public Transport Ticketing Commission — by assisting it to revise its privacy management plan;

- AGIMO — three PIAs to assist it to implement a multi-million dollar IT project to enhance access to services through AGOSP;
- Attorney General's Department — on Personal Property Securities Bill;
- Australian Flexible Learning Framework — privacy assessment
and the development of guidelines and templates to assist training organisations in the Vocational Education and Training Sector that are establishing
e-portfolios for their students;

- Attorney General's Department — on a proposal for electronically verifying identity under the Anti-Money Laundering And Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 using credit reporting information;

- CrimTrac Agency — on the National Police Checking Service;
- CrimTrac Agency — on the National Persons of Interest Vehicle Checking Service;

- Major financial institution — coordinating a Global Strong Authentication Study which was a unique survey of the intentions of bankers in North America and Europe for strengthening identity authentication.
